Almond Butter Walnut Blondie

This is a vegan and healthy sweet treat that's super easy to make and has very little ingredients! You can adjust it how you like, for example, putting almonds, apples, sunflowers, etc. This is also a super good treat before working out as it's calorie dense but still nutritious.

Ingredients:

1 cup almond butter

1/2 cup coconut sugar

3 tbsp water

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup walnuts


Nutrition:

1700 calories 70g fat 13g carbs 21g protein


Steps:

1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees

2) Take a large bowl- add water, almond butter, coconut sugar, vanilla, baking soda, and salt, stirring until it turns into a thick batter. Then, add the walnuts and fold them in. I also chose to chop the walnuts into smaller pieces before adding. I decorated the top with walnuts and a bit of brown sugar.

3) Take a 9-inch baking dish and line it with parchment paper. Add your batter to the pan and use a spatula to spread it evenly.

4) Bake for about 20 mins until you see that the top is starting to golden. Cool completely before serving.
